Not only from the breadth of variety in the illustrations it can produce-but also how it is capable of distilling the essence of the prompt with striking accuracy. The following images were created with quotes from famous scientists throughout history. Enjoy.

This one is from Galileo Galilei, a known polymath and who is considered the father of modern astronomy. The eye in the sky, along with the stone staircase ascending up transmits to the viewer the idea of reaching the cosmos; if only by sight.

I had to laugh when this image came out from the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates. Quite fitting to one known as the “Father of Medicine” that his advice that health was connected to diet.

William Osler may not be a household name as others on this list but his contributions to modern medicine cannot be overstated. He was instrumental in the creation of the first residency programs and the formulation of specialized fields in medicine. He also helped found the John Hopkins Hospital; renowned worldwide as a founding institution that shaped how medicine is practiced today.

This last image is from the “Father of Space Travel” aerospace engineer and rocket scientist Wernher von Braun. His contribution to humanity ascending into the heavens is remarkable. Without him, there is no Apollo 11, Voyager space probes, or dreams of living on Mars. Maybe Elon Musk will overlap Mr. Braun in stature one day, but he will always be an important piece of the scientific foundations to reaching the stars.
